Samerhil ih uslovljava na to samom \u010dinjenicom da svi predstavljaju jednake \u010dlanove zajednice. Me\u0111utim, rad na neautoritativnosti i prevelika sloboda veoma lako mogu pre\u0107i u anarhiju. To predstavlja veliki problem, jer je i jedan od ciljeva vaspitanja nau\u010diti kako vladati sobom i svojim prohtevima, kako im se suprotstavljati i upravljati ih onako kako zdrav razum nala\u017ee. To deca nisu u stanju i potreban im je vodi\u010d, autoritet koji je taj put ve\u0107 pro&scaron;ao. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zdrav-zivot.com.hr\/index.php?cat=_broj_53_2007____imunoloski_sustav_i_prehrana_autoritet\" target=\"_blank\">Autoritet<\/a> ne zna\u010di strahovladu, to se ne posti\u017ee batinama i galamom, ve\u0107 na mudar i lep na\u010din, probu\u0111ivanjem radoznalosti kod vaspitanika i pre svega li\u010dnim primerom. Cela &scaron;kola se zasniva na demokratskim principima. U Samerhilu deca \u017eive u zajednici koja ih podr\u017eava i za koju su i sami odgovorni, u kojoj imaju slobodu i mo\u0107 da promene \u017eivot u zajednici kroz demokratski proces. Svi pojedinci kreiraju svoj sistem vrednosti zasnovanog na zajednici u kojoj \u017eive. Problemi se razmatraju i re&scaron;avaju kroz otvorenost, demokratiju i dru&scaron;tvene akcije.
